‘A Memory Held in You’ Opens Virtually

Omaha, NE—Amplify Arts’ Generator Space Grant recipients, artists  Alex Jacobsen and Allegra Hangen, will virtually present A Memory Held in You, a collaborative experiment in sound, video, and memory. Initially set to be performed live at the space, the work has been reimagined for a Facebook and Instragram livestream. The artists met at the Bemis Center as interns, and Jacobsen and Hangen have unique interests in audio and visual presentation respectively. Â
Kaneko Welcomes Submissions for ‘The Tessellation Project’

Omaha, NE—While its doors are closed, Kaneko sees a new opportunity to connect the public with art and artists. The Tessellation Project offers anyone, anywhere in the world, a chance to submit art to the gallery to be physically and virtually displayed. This is just one of Kaneko’s efforts to carry on amid the coronavirus, which has necessitated a change in philosophy.
