Sydney Hames bounces back for UNO softball

She was an all-state pitcher at Bennington high school, and then came on as a true freshman for the University of Nebraska at Omaha softball team to give added depth. The move was not easy for all sports – as the once successful volleyball program found itself at a disadvantage against opponents with more scholarships to offer.
