Omaha, NE—The BlueBarn Theatre opens their 33rd season this week with Heroes of the Fourth Turning a recent play written by Will Arbery. While all playhouses suffered from COVID, BlueBarn found silver linings, having built a new outdoor theater to get by. They are now proud to have two performance spaces, but this year’s theme celebrates a return to the main stage.

Featuring Barry Carmen

Heroes of the Fourth Turning takes place in Wyoming and descends into spiritual chaos, and a vicious fight to be understood.

While Heroes takes place on the BlueBarn main stage, it’s been transformed into a silent, Wyoming prairie evening.

In addition to regular performance, BlueBarn will be offering new community engagement opportunities, including a quarterly storytelling series.

The BlueBarn Theatre opens Heroes of the Fourth Turning this Thursday, September 30 at 7:30pm. The show will run until October 24. For more information or tickets, visit BlueBarn.org.
