Bemis Showcases Empathy in Next Show

Omaha, NE—The Bemis Center for Contemporary Art opens a new exhibition this week, All Together, Amongst Many: Reflections on Empathy. 20 multi-generational artists working across various media foster empathy in conversations about the environment and human rights.

Featuring Rachel Adams, Chief Curator and Director of Programs at the Bemis Center and Artist Marcus Fischer

One exhibiting artist and performer is Marcus Fischer. Fischer works primarily with sound, not just melody, but also with the human voice, and field recordings—examining sound as a force.

Adams detailed some of Saturday’s performances and upcoming events part of the show.

All Together, Amongst Many: Reflections on Empathy, opens this Saturday, June 5 at the Bemis Center. It will be open through September 19. For more information, go to BemisCenter.org.
