‘Public Health Thank You Day’ in Nebraska

Cathedral Arts Project to Host Organist, Jan Kraybill

Omaha, NE—The Cathedral Arts Project Welcomes Grammy nominated Organist and Organ Conservator for the Kaufman Center in Kansas City Jan Kraybill this Sunday. Not only does she play the organ, but she maintains them, not unlike her Harley. Apparently, they’re not so dissimilar.
As far as instruments go, the organ is difficult to get a hold of, unlike a guitar or trumpet. I mean, I’ve never been allowed to touch the ones I’ve seen, as much as I wanted to. But Kraybill has a different approach to the instrument.
This Sunday, Kraybill will perform the works of perhaps the best known master of the organ and those who were inspired by him.
Jan Kraybill will perform this Sunday, May 16 at 3:00pm at St Cecilia Cathedral. The event will also be live streamed online. For more information, go to cathedralartsproject.org.
