Omaha, NE—Next week is National Library Week. It’s a chance for patrons to show support for their local libraries, and there are many ways to engage with Omaha Public Libraries.

Featuring Emily Getzchman, Marketing Manager for Omaha Public Library.

Library staff welcomes a week of appreciation, especially after a year in which their doors were mostly closed due to COVID-19. Omaha Libraries are now open regular hours and at full capacity, of course following CDC guidelines.

There are many ways to engage with local libraries next week, and Omaha Public Library has collaborated with an artist to create a new and unique way for patrons to show support.

For those who are not familiar with Omaha Public Library’s offerings, it’s more than just books. They offer audio books, magazines, movies, and database access, in person and online, tutoring for students, and a seed library.

National Library Week is all next week, April 4 through the 10. For more information, go to OmahaLibrary.org.
