16th Annual Omaha Film Festival Offers Virtual Screenings

Omaha, NE—COVID is not enough to stop the 16th Annual Omaha Film Festival starting today. Coming from humble beginnings, OFF has made a name for itself on the international film circuit. They will be showing 94 films this month, including documentaries, features, short films, and local selections. Marc Longbrake, Executive Director of Omaha Film Festival.
This year’s festival is about accessibility. They’ve adopted a hybrid model with virtual screenings available at home along with select in theater screenings with distanced seating.
In addition to the film presentation, OFF has been able to maintain their educational wing as well, offering behind the scenes info for film buffs and aspiring film makers.
The 16th Omaha Film Festival starts today with virtual screenings from March 2 to the 14, Live screenings at Aksarben Cinema on the 12 and 13 and local Nebraskan virtual screenings from the 14 to the 21.
