Omaha, NE—As most of the last year’s events have moved online, so have the Omaha Entertainment and Art Awards. Luckily, the show will go on with virtual performances and an awards ceremony this Sunday.

Featuring Doug Meigs, President of the OEAA Board of Directors.

This year’s OEAAs will feature artists who have produced work between September 2019 and August 2020. While the pandemic almost shut down the last performance season, it almost shut down the OEAAs as well. That’s fortunately not the case.

In addition to honoring healthcare workers, the OEAAs will recognize 2020’s local social justice activism. They will also present two lifetime achievement awards to artists from Omaha.

The 15th Annual Omaha Entertainment and Art Awards are this Sunday, February 28 at 5:45pm on Facebook Live. For more information, find Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards on Facebook, or go to oea-awards.org.
