Omaha, NE—Project Project Gallery will open a new exhibition this Friday, Cartesian//Split, by Allison Baker. Baker has a diverse academic background with degrees in both sculpture and gender studies. She has worked with most traditional media, including metal casting, wood working, stone carving and more.
Baker’s hodgepodged sculptures are designed to both attract and repel the viewer at the same time.
Project Project described Cartesian//Split as “moments drenched in a Pixy Stix flavored sludge that exist in a not-so-parallel mom’s house universe.”
Cartesian//Split, works by Allison Baker, opens at Project Project this Friday, January 8 from 6:00-10:00pm. Guests are required to wear face covering, and attendance will be limited to 10 guests in the space at a time. For more information, find Project Project on Facebook.
