Omaha Symphony and ‘The Carnival of the Animals’

Omaha, NE—Omaha Symphony will present Camille Saint-Saens The Carnival of the Animals tonight at the Holland Performing Arts Center. What was originally written as a bit of amusement became one of the artist’s most famous works.

Featuring Maestro, Thomas Wilkins

Saint-Saens’ musical description of animals is accompanied by narration, which will be done by KVNO’s own Otis XII.

Wilkins also talked about the rest of tonight’s repertoire.
