Omaha, NE—Omaha Under the Radar has been at the forefront of the city’s contemporary and experimental music scene for the last several years, but it has expanded beyond its regular summer schedule. Kaneko has opened its facilities for regular events throughout the year, Soundry, a workshop for hobbyist musicians, and the Generator Series which returns tonight with Wailing.

Featuring Under the Radar Director Amanda Deboer Bartlett

George Crumb is a favorite composer of the company, and his composition works to create the spooky ambience of the season.

Wailing will also feature the work of Helmut Lachemann, another influential composer for voice in the 20th century.

Under the Radar Director Deboer Bartlett has also composed work for this concert with a nautical theme.

The Generator Series: Wailing at Kaneko is tonight, October 11 at 7:00pm. Doors open at 6:30, and Soundry workshop participants will perform their original horror themed compositions. For more information or tickets, visit theKaneko.org.
