Red Summer, by playwright and novelist Beaufield Berry brings to the stage the life of Will Brown, who was tragically lynched in this city 100 years ago. Berry’s play is not just about the brutality of Brown’s murder, however, examining his life and relationships during a complicated time in America’s history.

The Twin Cities based group’s diverse repertoire delights many different audiences, featuring classical, contemporary, and pop selections. They’ve performed at some of the country’s finest venues, been awarded some of the most prestigious grants, and have been heard on national radio programs like NPR’s Tiny Desk and APM’s Performance Today. Entering their 25th year, this season’s tour begins here in Omaha.
