6th Omaha Under the Radar Festival This Week

July 23rd, 2019

Omaha, NE—While the festival won’t be ‘easy listening’, organizers have no reason to be modest, since Omaha Under the Radar is in its 6th season and attracting some of the most innovative musicians from all over the country. From July 24 to the 27, Under the Radar will explore every corner of Omaha’s music venues and musical styles.

Featuring Co-Founder, Amanda Deboer Bartlett

Festival musicians will not be performing familiar tunes, but their experiments in sound still have the opportunity to delight guests while at the same time challenging musical precepts. On stage, Under the Radar has featured electronic rigs, child’s toys, and more traditional chamber ensembles, but whatever the arrangement, the conversation between musicians and audiences is more important for discovering new music.

Venues all over town are included, like OutrSpaces, Hi-Fi House, Project Project, and Kaneko, and this year, Petshop gallery, The Jewell, and the Holland Center are added to the calendar.

The 6th Omaha Under the Radar Festival starts Wednesday, July 24 and runs through Saturday the 27. Various ticket options are available, and more information on the lineup is available online at undertheradaromaha.com.
