‘Re Purpose’ Open Now at Kaneko

Omaha, NE—Re•Purpose, the newest exhibition at Kaneko, is open now. Based on the theme of reused materials, featured works by local and visiting artists are on display, and a workshops, lectures, and performances are going on until August 24.
The seven participating artists showcase the objects of the every-day, like plastic bottles, tires and car bodies, and keyboards, offering an alternative perspective on creative growth and progress.
Kaneko has been planning Re•Purpose for almost a year, and even with ideas on paper and art in place, curating such a diverse space is an ongoing process as musicians, dancers, and presenters plan to use the venue.
Re•Purpose is open to the public now at Kaneko Tuesdays through Saturdays until August 24. For more information about special events, performances, or guided tours, visit theKaneko.org.
