‘Public Health Thank You Day’ in Nebraska

Project Project Opens ‘Lucky Links’

Omaha, NE—Project Project Gallery opens a new exhibition this Friday, Lucky Links, by Omaha artist Susan Knight. A painter and sculptor, Knight’s large scale pieces are a continuation of a motif that has guided her practice conceptually and aesthetically over the last several years.
Though, no stranger to oil on canvas, Knight’s interests now lie in materials like acrylic and rubber paints and coatings and synthetic Tyvek sheets often used in construction. Her work can withstand the elements, and has been displayed outdoors in Arkansas, but inside the gallery, her complex geometric patterns sparkle and cast shadows throughout the space.
Two other pieces in the gallery deliver the theme home, cut and painted sheets that resemble a sort of camouflage of abstracted faces.
Susan Knight’s Lucky Links opens at Project Project on Vinton Street this Friday, May 10 from 6-10pm and will be on display until June 2. For more information, visit ProjectProjectOmaha.com.
