Omaha, NE—This weekend at St. Cecilia Cathedral, The Omaha Symphonic Chorus returns for their 23rd annual Christmas at the Cathedral Concert. The ensemble performs this concert every year at the Cathedral, collaborating with many of the area’s musical and choral groups to put on one of the season’s highlight holiday shows.

In addition to Omaha Symphony, the Chorus will be sharing the stage with Nebraska Wesleyan’s University Choir, American Midwest Ballet, The Lincoln Boys Choir, and the River City Ringers, a handbell ensemble.

Each year, the program includes a mix of Christmas carol favorites and contemporary composers inspired by the holidays. This year’s concert will feature the same, but this set list was chosen to tell a story. That story is the one of how Christmas began.

Christmas at the Cathedral at St. Cecilia Cathedral, from the Omaha Symphonic Chorus is Friday, November 30 at 7:30pm and Sunday December 2 at 2:00pm. For more information or tickets, visit OmahaSymphonicChorus.org.
