The Youth Symphony Winter Concert, featuring Omaha Area Youth Orchestra’s most advanced high school musicians is this weekend. Audiences at UNO’s Strauss Performing Arts Center will have a chance to hear music by UNL professor Tyler White and Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony, a student request. For Music Director and Principal Conductor Aviva Segall, Dvorak’s tone poem “Noon Witch†is a highlight of the afternoon.
