“Falletta Conducts ‘Pines of Rome'”
Omaha, NE—Omaha Symphony welcomes guest conductor Maestra JoAnn Falletta, and guest violinist, Blake Pouliot, for a performance this weekend in homage to Rome. Maestra Falletta, the only female conductor of a top 40 orchestra, will lead the orchestra in the works of Berlioz and Respighi.

Omaha City Councilwoman Aimee Melton has been the lone woman on the council since she was elected to the position in 2013. Earlier this year, she was named to the Board of Directors for Nebraskans for the Death Penalty.
The Omaha trial lawyer and mother of three recently sat down with Ryan Robertson of KVNO News, and told him her political career has largely been about continuing the lessons she learned on the campaign trail.
