‘Public Health Thank You Day’ in Nebraska
OMAHA – Without disagreeing, during the pandemic health workers have worked in the middle of exhaustion and exasperation. The Nebraska Association of Local Health Directors identifies November 22 as Public Health Thank You Day.

Bill Cosby’s coming to Nebraska

Omaha, NE – Legendary entertainer, Bill Cosby has been on stage, television, radio and in print. And tomorrow, he will be live on stage again, here in Nebraska.

Comedian and actor Bill Cosby has been in the business of making people laugh for years. He started out with his stand-up act, and his voice has been broadcasted since the 1960’s. Cosby has written books, and produced shows for television including A Different World and The Cosby Show – where he played the character of Cliff, a successful doctor, husband and father. Here he is giving some fatherly advice to his son, Theo:
“Now, you are afraid to try, because you are afraid that your brain is going to explode and it’s going to ooze out of your ear. Now I’m telling you, you’re going to try as hard as you can, and you’re going to do because I said so. I am your father, and I brought you into this world and I’ll take you out.â€
Cosby will hit the stage this weekend – going back to his roots of telling jokes on stage. When people come go to see Cosby, as he says in a video posted on his website, he will Tweet you like you’ve never been tweeted before.
“I’m coming to flat out perform and hurt your face and body parts because you’re laughing.â€
The show is this Friday evening at 7:30 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska.
