OMAHA – Without disagreeing, during the pandemic health workers have worked in the middle of exhaustion and exasperation. The Nebraska Association of Local Health Directors identifies November 22 as Public Health Thank You Day.

KVNO’s Classical Kid for the month of February is 11-year old, Rachel Hall. A student at Brownell-Talbot, Hall plays the violin, and recalls performing at the Holland Performing Arts Center as the principal violinist for the Omaha Area Youth Orchestra, which she describes as “scary and exciting all at the same time.” In addition to music, she loves to watch and play volleyball. She is a KVNO fan and listens while doing her homework. She recently visited the KVNO studios for a chat with Music Director Ben Rasmussen.
