OMAHA – Without disagreeing, during the pandemic health workers have worked in the middle of exhaustion and exasperation. The Nebraska Association of Local Health Directors identifies November 22 as Public Health Thank You Day.
Cigarette tax raises concerns

Omaha, NE – The Nebraska Legislature wants to raise the cigarette tax to $1.99. That has some smokers saying they might quit the habit, but small businesses wondering if customers will cross the river for their fix.
