Playhouse Presents American Favorite “Of Mice and Men’

Omaha, NE—Of Mice and Men opens tomorrow at the Omaha Community Playhouse. Written by John Steinbeck, it’s one of the author’s most famous novels, depicting the life of the worker during America’s Great Depression. Character, comradery, and humor are inherent in Steinbeck’s work, but it’s a grim reality that tests these traits for protagonists, George and his friend, Lennie, who deals with a mental disability.
Director, Rosetta Cucchi Talks ‘Elixir of Love’

Omaha, NE—Opera Omaha’s production of Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, The Elixir of Love, opens this Friday at the Orpheum Theatre. It’s the company’s first time working with Italian Director, Rosetta Cucchi. As a director and concert pianist, Cucchi has been on the stages of Santa Cecilia in Rome, The Royal Theater in Madrid, The Japan Opera Foundation in Tokyo, as well as numerous other theaters in Europe, Latin America, and now the American Midwest.

Generator Series’ ‘Resilience,’ Music and Poetry at Kaneko
